Phillip W. Holmes, 57 of Temperance, MI, died Thursday, November 12, 2015 in Ebeid Hospice Residence, Sylvania, OH. Born November 29, 1957, in Hicksville, OH, he was the son of Thomas and Margaret (Durre) Holmes. He married Linda L. Konoff on December 3, 1977. Phillip was a truck driver for Jack Cooper Transport for 16 years and was a member of Northwest Baptist Church.
He is survived by his loving wife, Linda; children, Jennifer Holmes, Scott (Jessica) Holmes and Sarah (Andrew) Edwards; brothers, Gary (Kris) Kipker and Thomas (Millie) Holmes; sisters, Pam Brannen, Mary Faryniarz and 5 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Elaine Holmes.
Visitation will be from 3-8 pm Sunday, November 15, 2015, at the Michael W. Pawlak Funeral Home, 1640 Smith Rd. (at Jackman) Temperance, MI. Funeral services will be at 11:00 am, Monday, November 16, 2015, at Northwest Baptist Church, 3906 W Alexis Rd, Toledo, OH 43623, where he will lie in state after 10:00 am. Interment will follow at Whiteford Union Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the church. www.pawlakfuneralhome.com
